How do we charge for the use of the PART-X platform?
Our Fees
PART-X is a new platform for part-exchanging vehicles with other like-minded enthusiasts. It is effectively free to use and will continue to be charged for at a very low price for the first 6 months.
Initially PART-X will charge a nominal one off advertising fee of GBP £0.01 to place an advert, and then a recurring fee of a further GBP £0.01 per month through a PayPal subscription.
At PART-X we decided on a nominal chargeable fee, for the single reason that we wished to maintain a level of quality, and believe that genuine PART-X'ers will be willing to pay a total of GBP £0.06 (6 pence) to gain access to an audience of like minded vehicle owners for a 6 month period.
We decided on using PayPal for the advertising and subscription payment processing as it provides a level of confidence that the vehicle's owner and their vehicle advert are genuine.
We anticipate increasing the fees charged in 6-12 months, but not significantly. There will continue to be an advertising fee payable initially that covers the first month, and then a subscription fee payable each month until cancelled by the vehicle owner.
You can cancel your subscription at any time by signing in to your PayPal account, selecting the PART-X subscription and then cancelling the future payments.
